I help clients navigate and heal from a range of challenges, including breaking free from dysfunctional patterns and limiting beliefs, addressing trauma and PTSD, healing childhood emotional wounds, working through complex grief and loss, managing anxiety and depression, overcoming addiction, and fostering empowerment and personal growth. Additionally, I provide support for stress and anger management, suicidal ideation, self harm and relationship issues.
My approach is client-centered and integrative, combining EMDR, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, grounding techniques, deep breathing exercises and somatic practices. I tailor these modalities to each client’s needs, focusing on self-compassion, resilience, and sustainable change.
I work with clients between the ages of 13 to 60.
I have done Masters in Apllied Psychology, Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling (CPCAB, UK) and Certification in EMDR (Accredited by EMDR Pakistan and EMDR Asia). Additionally, I regularly atttend relevant workshops and courses to remain abreast of new developments in the mental health field.
The duration of a session is 60 minutes.
I generally recommend clients attend sessions on a weekly basis to maintain consistency and momentum in their therapeutic progress. However, the frequency of sessions ultimately depends on each client’s availability, financial considerations, and the time they can commit to therapy.
In a typical session, I explore the client’s concerns, identify underlying issues, and work collaboratively using various therapeutic techniques to foster healing. The session may include discussion, mindfulness and deep breathing exercises, and grounding techniques depending on the client’s needs.
Therapy is working when the client begin to notice positive changes in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This may include a greater sense of self-awareness, improved coping strategies, reduced stress, and progress toward personal goals.
The duration of therapy varies depending on the clients and their specific needs. Some clients may experience significant progress in a few sessions, while others may require longer-term support.
All information shared in therapy will be kept confidential. Any details discussed may be shared with my supervisor or in peer supervision, but all identifying information, such as name, gender and profession, will be removed to ensure confidentiality.
Clients must inform at least 10 hours’ prior to the session if they wish to cancel a session. Cancellations made without sufficient notice, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full session fee, except in cases of emergency or unavoidable circumstances.
